Paving starts on Thursday June 13, 2024 on Hardwick Road/Rt.32A. It is expected to run from 6:00AM till 5:30/6:00PM daily, for approximately three to four weekdays, all depending on weather.
Hardwick Road will be closed to through traffic from the intersection of Rt.122 through Glenn Valley Road. Residents living with in the closed stretch will be allowed to use the roadway. If you are a resident living within the closed section and you have guests or utility companies that need to get past the detail officer, please have them advised the officer, and they will be allowed to pass the Road Closed signs.
All other traffic will be detoured down to Barre to Dana Road or down to Rt. 32 South (Highly Preferred) during paving operations.
Northbound traffic is advised to use the Rt.32 North detour in Hardwick, as it will be the most appropriate and accommodating route, especially for large trucks.
